If you want to make an omelette, you have to break a few eggs, as the saying goes. My desk doesn’t often look Instagram worthy; quite often it’s a jumble as I both work-from-home and also write (and launch a book series in less than two weeks!). I always tidy the desk by the end of the day, because nothing beats a clean surface to kick off the morning.
But, when the work and writing and marking are in full swing, don’t expect tidy perfection!
