Today, there was no focus. There was some gaming & goofing off in Minecraft Realms. But, for the past week that I’ve had off work, there’s been plenty of focus. I treated my holiday from my IRL job as if I was a real full-time author and put in the hours to work on the outline for Blood Brute’s second book, Fall of Two.
It’s so easy, working at a different job everyday, to lose touch with writing & forget what it’s like to dedicate a chunk of time to just creating another world & its characters.
It’s darn nice. Makes me write & outline & plan all the harder, so that maybe I can devote every hour to writing one day 👍
